A. Sorry, but in Michigan, it is illegal to sell a frame with a title. We can sell a frame with a Bill of Sale only.

Q. How do I go about selling a motorcycle to you?
A. For us to buy a motorcycle from you, you must have the title in your name. Please call 1.517.676.0583 or e-mail at Slicks@SlicksSalvage.com for more info.

Q. What does it mean if there's no price listed on a vehicle page?
A. We obtain our vehicles from many different sources, and some take longer than others to get the paperwork to us. If we don't have the paperwork, we can't list a price. Please check back every so often, as we will update the vehicle page when information is received.

Q.
How do I buy a vehicle with a scrap title?

A. Due to Michigan laws, a scrap title motorcycle cannot be sold in one piece. What we have to do with scrap title motorcycles is part them out in to a rolling chassis and motor kit, which may be purchased with bills of sale. The same frame and motor (from the original motorcycle) cannot be reassembled and retitled in Michigan.

Q. What does "Straight," "Salvage," or "Scrap" title mean?
A. Here's a summary of the different titles seen in our web site:

Straight
Salvage
Scrap
Vehicle is clear, may have been in a wreck, and can be driven on the road.
Vehicle has been in a wreck, can be fixed up and re-titled to drive on the road.
Vehicle has been in a wreck and cannot be re-titled and driven on the road as is. Vehicle is always for parts only.
